A number of Coronation Street and Emmerdale stars will be on the sidelines to support their teams at the charity netball match on Saturday.
With just days to go before the soap rivals face-off on the netball court, it has been confirmed they will have a number of their cast-mates in the crowd to cheer them on.
Corrie actors Ian Puleston-Davies, Mikey North, Amy Kelly, Dean Fagan and Sean Ward will leave Weatherfield behind for an afternoon of charity netball to raise money for Text Santa.
Crossing the Pennies and taking a day off from having a drink in the Woolpack will be Emmerdale cast members Anthony Quinlan, Roxy Shahidi, Kelvin Fletcher and Adam Fielding.
They will join Danny Miller who has signed up to be the MC on the day and Adam Thomas, who had already put his names forward to support Team Emmerdale.
Speaking to the M.E.N. about how last-minute preparations are going for Team Corrie as they prepare to face Emmerdale in the second Soap Showdown, Tisha Merry said: "I'm a bit nervous but we're gonna win so it's fine. They're really up for it and we may not give away that we're really competitive but we're saving it for the game. Bring it on"
Tisha Merry will be in the team with captain Katy Cavanagh, Brooke Vincent, Jane Danson and Hayley Tamaddon joining her on court.
Team Emmerdale's Charley Webb will lead her side, with Michelle Hardwick, Sammy Winward, Amy Walsh and Eden Taylor-Draper also taking part.
The cast will be joined by crew from their respective soap and also players from Superleague teams Manchester Thunder (Corrie) and Yorkshire Jets (Emmerdale).
Manchester Thunder players set to take the court include England centre-courter - and Black and Yellows captain - Sara Bayman and shooter Helen Housby.
Laura Malcolm, Kerry Almond and Kathryn Tuner will also represent Thunder in the Team Corrie squad.
The Superleague teams have been training with the cast members, in a bid to get them match-ready for the game on Saturday, (November 22).
